MP Tim Wilson asks Matt Comyn how customer interaction has changed in the wake of the royal commission, which enshrined the importance of a ‘customer first’ approach to the financial services industry.
Comyn responds that he talks to customers on an almost daily basis, has sent letters to 8 million CBA customers, and received 14,000 responses.
“Does that detract from your other CEO duties?” asks Wilson.
“No, I think it actually enhances my role as CEO,” says Comyn.
